Player ratings: Celtic 3-1 Hearts (A)

Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths’ second-half goals were enough to seal a fifth successive league title.

Colin Kazim-Richards gave Celtic a first-half lead but were pegged back by Abiola Dauda.

Callum McGregor put the ball into the net after 12 minutes, but he was wrongly ruled offside by the linesman.

Kazim-Richards opened the scoring after 17 minutes from Mikael Lustig’s cross to give the away side the lead.

Having chested the ball down, the striker volleyed home his first goal since he scored against East Kilbride in early February.

Griffiths should have doubled Celtic’s lead but couldn’t put the ball beyond Neil Alexander in the Jambos goal.

Like Motherwell several weeks ago, Celtic were lacklustre at the start of the second half and punished accordingly.

Scott Brown gave the ball away and Nir Bitton’s tame defensive efforts allowed Dauda to fire the ball past Craig Gordon after 57 minutes.

Nine minutes later Roberts pounced on some poor defending before Griffiths sealed the win with five minutes remaining.
