Two first-half goals from Patrick Roberts were enough to put the title beyond mathematical doubt today at Paradise.
Mikael Lustig was also on the scoresheet as Celtic held on to a slender lead late on.
Roberts has five league goals since he arrived and helped Celtic on their way to confirm their fifth successive league title.
Seven minutes into the game the winger on loan from Manchester City opened the scoring with a blistering strike into the after cutting inside on his left foot.
He doubled Celtic’s lead 13 minutes later after Aberdeen defence were again drawn to Leigh Griffiths.
The striker picked out Roberts between two defenders who coolly curled the ball into the bottom left corner.
Four minutes into the second-half Mikael Lustig made it three after he got on the end of McGregor’s pull back.
Niall McGinn rolled the ball past Craig Gordon on 57 minutes and Andrew Considine scored from a free kick seven minutes later but it wasn’t enough a Celtic held on.
