New Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has identified Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass as a transfer target as he looks to mould the squad in his image after his recent appointment.
According to a report in the Daily Express, Rodgers will look to sign the Scotland international this summer, even if Hull gain promotion to the Premier League.
The Tigers meet Sheffield Wednesday in the playoff final at Wembley this weekend, but the Express think that Celtic will look to buy the 28-year-old, regardless of the result. however, it is unlikely that Hull would let him leave if they do secure promotion.
However, it is unlikely that Hull would let him leave if they do secure promotion to the top flight of English football after a one-year absence.

Snodgrass is a boyhood Celtic fan and back in 2005 he revealed that he was offered the chance to join the Hoops as a youngster, but chose to join Livingston as he thought they would offer him a better path to first-team action.
If Hull aren’t successful in their promotion bid, they may be forced to let Snodgrass go as his contract ends after next season and they won’t want to lose him on a free transfer.
