According to The Daily Mail, Celtic are interested in signing Liverpool central defender Kolo Toure on a free transfer.
Kolo Toure has not been offered a new contract by Liverpool, which means he will become a free agent when his contract expires next month. Toure has been at Liverpool for three years, since Brendan Rodgers signed him on a free transfer from Manchester City.

It looks like Rodgers is now looking to do the same at Celtic, with the report suggesting that the Ivorian is a transfer target.
The veteran defender would be an astute signing for Celtic. His experience would be key for a possible Champions League campaign, and he was praised for being a fine role model for the younger players in the Liverpool squad.
Toure has played the best part of 400 Premier League games during his career, as well as accruing 118 caps for the Ivory Coast.
His Liverpool contract expires next Friday, and his performances for the Reds at the end of last season showed he still has plenty left to offer if his game time is managed.
