Update: Moussa Dembele has signed a four-year deal at Celtic and will offically be a Hoops’ player on July 1st.
According to the Daily Mail, Fulham striker Moussa Dembele is in Scotland today to undergo a medical at Celtic.
Dembele has agreed terms with Celtic and is apparently in Glasgow to complete his medical and sort out any personal terms.
His contract at Fulham expires on Friday, so he would officially sign for the club at the end of the week.
Celtic have staved off competition from a host of top clubs, with Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea and Southampton all thought to be interested.
Brendan Rodgers is very keen on bringing Dembele in to provide competition for Leigh Griffiths.
The Scottish forward was under a lot of pressure to score last season, which he did, but he may need to be helped out next season with the club hopefully playing Champions League football.
Dembele, 19, had a fine Championship season. The Frenchman scored 17 goals in all competitions, which is what has attracted so much interest in his signature.
To sign such a promising young talent is a great bit of business by the club.
