Celtic will look to step up their pursuit for the Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair over the coming days, with a £3million offer set to be tabled.
The Sunday Post report how Aston Villa would be willing to let Sinclair leave for £3million and Celtic are yet to be put off by a series of setbacks in their pursuit for the winger, with Villa holding out.
Hoops’ boss Brendan Rodgers has managed Sinclair before when both were at Premier League side Swansea City, where he arguably played the best football of his career.

The chance to potentially play Champions League football in front of crowds of up to 60,000 could lure Sinclair away from Birmingham and up to Scotland, but Celtic face a challenge for his signature with Newcastle United also in the mix .
The 27-year-old has made 30 appearances for the Villans since an initial loan move from Manchester City in January 2015, a move which was made permanent last summer.
