Ahead of Celtic’s clash with Astana, we at Read Celtic will role-play (not that kind) and predict the starting XI.
We will be playing the role of Brendan Rodgers, and choosing the starting XI and how the team are expected to line-up on the pitch.
It also includes a bit of insight into what we expect from each player, and what they can do to make the difference.
After a 3-1 defeat to Catalan giants Barcelona at the weekend, Celtic will turn their attention to Champions League qualification once again.
A win will secure European football until Christmas, but after two years out of the premier competition, fans will hope to reach the group stages of the Champions League.
To do so, they will have to see off Kazakhstan side Astana, and are in a favourable position after Leigh Griffiths scored an all-important away goal.
Here’s our predicted XI for Wednesday night’s game in the third qualifying round.
