Kieran Tierney has welcomed the arrival of veteran defender Kolo Toure and believes he will bring valuable experience to the Celtic defence.
The 19-year-old defender is continually learning since breaking into the first-team last season on a regular basis and the Ivorian is one player who can further his development.
Toure has over 80 appearances in European competition during his 18-year career, as well as 412 Premier League appearances and a Premier League winners medal to his name.
Speaking about the 35-year-old to STV, Tierney said:
His experience is brilliant. Even in the first few days you could tell from him always talking on the pitch and always commanding.
It’s brilliant to have someone like that in your defence.

After his departure from Liverpool in the summer, Toure linked up with his former boss Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow, who brought him to Merseyside in the summer of 2013.
Celtic will look to progress to the play-off round of the Champions League tonight against Astana and Toure could make his debut against the Kazakhstan champions.
Brendan Rodgers did admit yesterday he was wary about playing the Ivorian due to a lack of match fitness, but he could still be involved in some capacity at Paradise tonight.
