Scott Allan has joined Championship side Rotherham in a bid to get more first-team football under his belt.
He is currently surplus to requirements for the new manager Brendan Rodgers and has moved on a season-long loan which will see him link up for his former boss Allan Stubbs.

The 24-year-old midfielder struggled to break into the first-team since his arrival last year from Hibernian, making just three starts last season against Hamilton and St Johnstone in the league and Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Allan previously spent time in England after moving to West Brom in 2012, but failed to break into the Albion squad and was loaned out to MK Dons, Birmingham City and on two occasions to Portsmouth.

Following a move back to Scottish side Hibernian on a free transfer, Allan moved to Celtic last summer for a fee of around £250,000 after making 43 appearances for the Edinburgh side.
Celtic fans have repeatedly called for Allan to start for the first-team, however, his chance at the Hoops hasn’t materialised under Ronny Deila or Brendan Rodgers.
It seems that his short career at Celtic could be over already as Rodgers prefers a number of players in his position.
