Brendan Rodgers has denied that Gary Mackay-Steven is set to join Ross County on a loan to secure regular first-team football.
The winger has been out injured since the Scottish Cup semi-final when Celtic lost on penalties to Rangers and required surgery on his foot during the offseason.
He was training today but is still short of match fitness.
BR on if @Gary__11 is going out on loan: "Not that I'm aware of. Still injured. Nothing in that." (MH)

Mackay-Steven struggled at the beginning of last season under Ronny Deila and with three-years remaining on his deal it is unclear whether he has a future at Celtic.
He made a total of 37 appearances in the green and white Hoops jersey last season, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.

Much has been made of the signings in the previous two seasons by Celtic and Mackay-Steven is one that has been criticised.
He moved to Celtic on transfer deadline day in February 2015 along with his former Dundee United team-mate Stuart Armstrong for a combined fee of around £2 million, but hasn’t reached the level expected of him since the move.
It’s thought he won’t be fit to play first-team football for another month.
