Brendan Rodgers is still hopeful of signing more players following his third signing of the summer, Scott Sinclair, was confirmed yesterday.
The 43-year-old Celtic manager was delighted with the character his players showed to score with nine minutes remaining at Tynecastle on the opening day of the season.
An ill-tempered Hearts side picked up seven yellow cards in the game, and were very fortunate to win a penalty which the referee later admitted was a mistake.
Speaking after the game as per Celtic’s official twitter page, Rodgers said:
I would like to add a few more but it’s just time.
We need a certain type of player to play my way, but while searching for that you have to build mentality and resilience.

All three of Rodgers signings were on display yesterday (Sunday) and it was Sinclair who stole the headlines with a 70-yard run up the field to meet Leigh Griffiths’ cross from eight-yards.
