Scott Sinclair has spoken about his admiration of Celtic and Brendan Rodgers, who played a big part in convincing him to join the five-in-a-row league champions.
Signing for a fee of around £3 million from Championship side Aston Villa, the 27-year-old joined Celtic on a four-year deal, and scored on his debut against Hearts despite getting just three hours sleep on Friday night in order to finalise the deal.

The former Chelsea, Manchester City and Swansea winger linked up with his former manager Brendan Rodgers north of the border after an indifferent couple of years at various clubs in England.
As quoted by the BBC, Sinclair revealed a former Celt played a part in him signing for the Hoops.
[Petrov] told me about the atmosphere and the fans. He thought it would be great for me, to get my football back on track.
Sinclair spent his pre-season at Villa with Petrov and would have heard plenty of stories from the famous European nights at Paradise when the Bulgarian played for Celtic.
Speaking to Celtic’s official website, he also said:
The manager spoke to me and asked if I was fit enough to be involved and I told him yes. To come on and score the winner and get the three points was a dream come true.

There was a massive impact from the manager in my decision to come here. I’ve played under him at Swansea and that was my best football, which led me to sign for Manchester City.
Over the last two or three years football hasn’t been great for me and I just wanted to be at a club and enjoy it under a manager who knows me and gives me confidence. That’s why it’s great for me to work under a manager like Brendan Rodgers.
Sinclair excelled for Swansea during their promotion to the Premier League in 2010/2011 under the Carnlough man, and scored 27 goals in 50 appearances.
He will now be hoping to continue his fast start to life at Celtic on Wednesday in the League Cup against Motherwell at Paradise.
