Dorus de Vries has signed with Scottish champions Celtic and links up with his former team-mate and manager.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper was the Nottingham Forest player of the year last season, and will bring a wealth of experience to Paradise after joining for a nominal fee.
De Vries signed a two-year deal, which was confirmed by the official club website after he underwent a medical on Friday.
The former Forrest ‘keeper was entering the final 12-months of his contract at the Championship club and will provide competition for Craig Gordon.
During his time at Swansea he made 195 appearances, including 51 during Swansea’s promotion season in 2010/11 under Rodgers’ management.

De Vries will become Celtic’s fourth signing of the summer following the acquisition of Moussa Dembele, Kolo Toure and Scott Sinclair.
It is thought Brendan Rodgers wanted a ball-playing ‘keeper, and there were reports he wanted Michel Vorm, but instead he signed his former ‘keeper from Swansea City.
He sustained an ankle injury in last weekend’s league opener against Burton Albion, but the injury is not thought to be serious.
