Brendan Rodgers is still hopeful of more transfer activity before the market closes in two weeks time.
Celtic already boast the strongest squad in the league by quite some margin but Rodgers still feels the squad lacks something.
More players are expected to leave in the next two weeks, but it’s still unclear who will be moved on.
Having already acquired Moussa Dembele, Kolo Toure, Scott Sinclair and most recently Dorus de Vries, Rodgers will look to add more to his squad before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
Speaking to the Glasgow Evening Times, Rodgers said:
If we could get one more player in that would be the ideal. If we do that we’d have had an incredible market in terms of what we’ve been able to bring in – the club couldn’t have done any more. They have given me great support.
In all fairness when I took the job I said I would assess the team. The team was Scottish champions and I had to be fair to them and assess the players before I decided what I needed.

Celtic are continuing their preparations ahead of their play-off first-leg tie against Hapoel Be’er Sheva on Wednesday at Paradise.
Rodgers took a second-string side with him on Saturday to Limerick to face Inter Milan and rested many of those expected to play a big role in midweek.
The squad featured a number of players who are capable of playing in the first-team, including Ryan Christie, Saidy Janko and Liam Henderson, highlighting the depth the 43-year-old has currently at his disposal.
Following a two-year absence from the Champions League, fans will be hoping their side take a big step towards qualification in the home tie before the return leg next Tuesday.
