Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic scored late on against Aberdeen as Celtic went top of the table with a game in hand.
Leigh Griffiths and James Forrest scored in the first-half as the side looked leggy after their midweek Champions League qualifier.
Tom Rogic was lively in the game and was unlucky not to give Celtic the lead after seeing his shot from 20-yards crash off the crossbar.
Griffiths gave the home side the lead on 13 minutes after nutmegging a defender before firing a shot from 20-yards that crashed off the post and into the net for his seventh goal of the season.
Aberdeen equalised through Adam Rooney on 32 minutes with their first attempt on goal after the Hoops defence failed to clear the ball.
Three minutes before half-time Celtic took the lead again after some good football that was finished off by Forrest with the outside of his right foot.
Sinclair won and converted a penalty on 87 minutes and Rogic’s man of the match performance was capped off with a well placed free-kick into the bottom left corner.
