The Costa Rican international has been told that he is free to leave West Brom this summer, unsurprisingly so after making just three appearances for the Baggies last season, with Tony Pulis preferring to play central defenders at both left-back and right-back.

The 26-year-old is free to leave the Hawthorns and Brendan Rodgers is reportedly considering taking him on a permanent transfer.
Gamboa was signed by Rosenborg in 2012 as a replacement for Mikael Lustig initially on a loan deal before signing permanently, and could replace Lustig at the right-back for Celtic.
Having returned from international duty this summer, Gamboa has once again found himself on the fringes at Albion and would certainly be open to a move.
With the transfer window closing on Wednesday, West Brom are expected to offload several more players while Celtic will be hoping to bring in at least one more player after Gamboa.
