Jozo Simunovic has been included in Celtic’s Champions League squad but there’s no place for Kris Commons in the team.
The veteran midfielder has been recovering from offseason surgery on his back and did return to training in mid-July, but hasn’t featured yet in any Brendan Rodgers’ match day squads.
Jozo Simunovic has made the squad after his deadline day move to Torino fell through despite passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Summer signings Moussa Demebele, Kolo Toure, Scott Sinclair, Dorus de Vries and Cristian Gamboa are all included in the 25-man squad.

Gary Mackay-Steven has also been added, despite recovering from surgery during the summer on a persistent ankle injury.
Ambrose rejected a deadline day move to Standard Liege from Celtic, and hasn’t featured in the side at all since the Hoops’ first leg against Astana and didn’t in the squad along with Kristoffer Ajer.
Rodgers’ side will kick-off their Champions League campaign away to La Liga champions Barcelona on September 13th, before welcoming Manchester City at the end of September and Borussia Monchengladbach in mid-October to Paradise.
