With the transfer window closing last week, we take a look at what Celtic’s strongest XI could look like in the coming weeks.

The Hoops have a number of critical matches coming up, and will be fighting on three fronts by the time the January window comes around.

Brendan Rodgers, who has achieved so much in so little time at Celtic, has had a chance to bed in his tactics and develop a style of football which is eye-catching amongst Celtic fans.

Couple that, alongside Champions League qualification and some fantastic domestic form, the Hoops have had no challenges thus far. In defence, however, there have been alarm bells ringing at times which needs improving upon.

On the odd occasion this season, the Celtic backline has lost concentration allowing the opposition to come back into the match.

With all this in mind, here is what we think the Hoops’ strongest XI is.
