Brendan Rodgers has revealed why he substituted goalkeeper Dorus de Vries at half-time as Celtic hammered Kilmarnock.
Souleymane Coulibaly gave the away side the lead against the run of play with a stunning strike from 40-yards but the lead was short-lived.

De Vries was seemingly injured in his attempts to save the goal, and was replaced by Rodgers as a precaution.
Moussa Dembele scored a three-minute brace to give Celtic the lead going into the break and they added four more goals in the second half through James Forrest, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic.
Speaking after the game as quoted by Celtic’s official Twitter account, Rodgers said:
He strained his chest when he landed.
He (Dorus) could have maybe played on but we have Craig there fit and capable and we didn’t want to take any risks.
We will see how Dorus is over the next couple of days.
Both full-back’s were involved in the Frenchman’s quick double as he fired home Lustig’s cross on 35 minutes before getting on the end of Man of the Match Kieran Tierney’s cutback to make it 2-1
After the break, Celtic turned on the style as Forrest scored his fifth goal of the season after linking up with Rogic on the edge of the box and poked home the ball after going past two defenders.
Griffiths came off the bench and made it four after getting the final touch on Scott Sinclair’s corner on 66 minutes and won a penalty five minutes later and unselfishly handed the ball to Sinclair who scored in his sixth consecutive game from the penalty spot.
Rogic made it six from the edge of the box with five minutes remaining after the ‘keeper failed to keep out his shot.
Celtic and Rodgers will now be preparing for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Manchester City at Paradise who won 3-1 today against Swansea.
