Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all ready to step up their interest in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
The 20-year-old has been in great form all season since arriving from Fulham and has once again found himself on the radar of some of Europe’s biggest clubs according to the Daily Mail, many of whom wanted to sign him when he left the London side.
Celtic’s major shareholder Dermot Desmond sais the club are in no rush to sell any of their players this summer due to their strong financial state, which has been helped massively by Champions League qualification.
We don’t need to sell any players. Hopefully we can retain [Dembele] but again our job is to have players that are wanted by other clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere. That will be an indication of the quality of footballers that we have.
Dembele has scored 12 goals in 17 games, including a brace against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Champions League and performances like that have apparently got the giants of Europe keeping a close eye on his progress at Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will return from the international break next week, and their first game will be at home against Motherwell where Dembele will look to continue his impressive goal-scoring form.
