Scott Sinclair has praised Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers for instilling a winning mentality within the squad.
The pair linked up at Swansea five years ago, which was the last final Sinclair competed in and scored a hat-trick on that day to send them to the Premier League.
Ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Dingwall, the 27-year-old winger spoke to the Scotsman and hailed the boss.
Speaking about Rodgers’ belief in him and his players, Sinclair said:
A winning mentality is the big thing the manager has given the squad. No matter whether it’s the League Cup or Champions League, he wants to win every game.
He [Rodgers] has instilled that in every one of the players and you can see that out on the pitch.
We are fighting for each other out on the pitch, we are winning the ball back and creating chances. There’s a great atmosphere around the club and I’m just enjoying being here.
Sinclair has started the season in fine form, finding the net eight times in his 16 appearances for Celtic so far.
He came close to scoring at least twice on Sunday, put was prevented his second goal against Rangers this season by the crossbar and ‘keeper Matt Gilks.
With three important away games coming up against Ross County, title challengers Aberdeen and Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League, Sinclair will look to find the net once again in a Hoops jersey.
