Team news: Celtic v Aberdeen (A)

Brendan Rodgers will be looking for another win on Saturday at Pittodrie as Celtic travel to face Aberdeen.

Celtic ran out 4-0 winners in the end of Wednesday against a ross Coutny side that did cause problems for a makeshift team before Stuart Armstrong, Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele scored in the final 10 minutes.

Aberdeen fell to a 1-0 defeat to Hamilton Academical after securing their place in next month’s League Cup final last weekend and will face Celtic.

Rodgers will be looking for another three points ahead of a crucial Champions League tie against Borussia Monchengladbach, which could decide their fate in European competition this season.

The Hoops are unbeaten domestically this season, however the Dons have won the last two meetings at Pittodrie bewteen the sides.

Celtic

Kieran Tierney will mis tomorrow’s game after suffering a suspected broken ankle in training and had an MRI scan on it today.

Scott Brown will return to the squad after he was granted leave from the squad by Brendan Rodgers to attend the birth of his third child.

Rodgers is expected to make a host of changes from Wednesday’s game with many of the regular first-team players returning to the squad for the game.

Aberdeen

Ash Taylor and Jayden Stockley both have thigh strains have a chance of featuring in tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) game.

Captain Ryan Jack missed out on Tuesday’s defeat to Hamilton but could return to the side however Scott Wright is out with a hamstring problem.
