Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is reportedly being valued at £40 million as a number of Europe’s top clubs track him.
According to a report from the Daily Express, Real Madrid, the club who grew up supporting, along with Premier League sides Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on his progress, with the latter two scouting him in midweek against Ross County.
Despite the interest, Dembele – who signed a four-year contract in the summer with Celtic – has previously stated that he is at Celtic for the long term with no intentions of leaving the club as he continues his development as a footballer.
The 20-year-old Frenchman has started the season in impressive form, scoring 15 goals in 22 appearances for the club this season – including a double agaisnt Manchester City in the Champions League.
Having moved from PSG’s academy to Fulham, Brendan Rodgers signed the young striker for just £500,000 on a compensation fee – a bargain in today’s market.
Celtic and Dembele will be looking for their second ever away win in the Champions League group stages on Tuesday as they travel to face Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.
