Scott Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic scored in the second half to give Celtic a comfortable win over Inverness.

A fantastic attacking move from Celtic on 36 minutes saw Stuart Armstrong presented with the best chance of the first-half with a free header inside the box.

Emilio Izaguirre whipped a brilliant ball into the box but the midfielder, who operated from right-back after an injury to Mikael Lustig, headed well wide of the target.

On 44 minutes Sinclair made a fantastic mazing run into the box from the left wing but blazed his right footed shot well over the bar.

Three minutes into the second half Celtic took the lead through Sinclair who scored his 10th goal of the season from Callum McGregor’s clever through ball into the wingers path.

Griffiths doubled Celtic’s lead on 63 minutes after following up Moussa Dembele’s shot that was saved by Owain Fon Willaims.

With seven minutes remaining substitute Rogic made it three after blasting the ball at the ‘keeper from a good cutback by Stuart Armstrong.
