Celtic return to domestic football this weekend and will go in pursuit of their 100th major honour in the League Cup final on Sunday.
Rodgers’ side are still unbeaten in domestic football this season and will look to extend that run to 16 games against Aberdeen.
The Hoops were knocked out of European competition in midweek following a 2-0 loss to Barcelona, and will now focus on domestic matters for the remainder of the season.
Aberdeen and the Hoops have met twice this so far, with Rodgers’ side coming out on top in both games.
The Dons will be looking for their second League Cup trophy in two years having lifted it in 2014 at Celtic Park when they beat Inverness CTÂ on penalties.

Scott Sinclair went off at half-time in midweek with a hamstring injury and will be assessed on Sunday before the game.
Leigh Griffiths missed the last two games with a hamstring injury but is fit again.
Kieran Tierney remains out having undergone ankle surgery.
Aberdeen
Derek McInnes has a full squad to choose from in Sunday’s final.
Defender Ash Taylor and forward Niall McGinn are pushing for starts after coming off the bench last weekend.
