Dedryck Boyata scored the only goal as Celtic went 25 points clear at the top of the table following their win over Aberdeen.

The hosts dominated the game and were rarely troubled in the game.

Kieran Tierney came closest to opening the scoring after four minutes for Celtic with a darting run across the six-yard box and fired a right footed shot just over the bar.

Patrick Roberts also had a glorious chance for the Hoops but hesitated on his advances towards goal and saw his attempted squared pass to Scott Sinclair cut out by Ryan Jack.

Celtic took the lead after 56 minutes through Boyata’s header from a brilliant cross into the box by Sinclair.

On 63 minutes Sinclair struck the cross bar after a wonderful bit of control to take down a long ball and could only watch his curled shot cannon back into the six-yard area.
