Celtic defender Eoghan O’Connell limped off injured last night for Walsall as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Fleetwood Town.
O’Connell’s contract at Paradise expires at the end of the season, and is impressing fans south of the border thus far.
Last night the centre-back hobbled off according to Walsall’s official Twitter account, and is suspected to have injured his hamstring.

He also broke his nose during the game and will be assessed thoroughly later today to determine the severity of his hamstring injury.
The 21-year-old Irishman has enjoyed six wins in 13 appearances for the League One side – and was also given the Man of the Match Award in his second appearance against Bristol City.
Brendan Rodgers sent the centre-back on loan to England, however his future with the Hoops is in doubt with the club expected to bolster their squad in the summer
Walsall are currently in 9th, five points off the playoffs places in the third tier of English football.
They have played three more games than sixth placed side Milwall with just eight games remaining for O’Connell’s side.
