Team news: Celtic v Hearts (A)

Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side return to action against Hearts after the international break, knowing a win will secure the league title.

The last time the two teams met, Celtic put four past the Jambos as they surpassed the Lisbon Lions’ 26-game unbeaten domestic record and will look to extend that to 37 games this weekend.

The Hoops also won the previous meeting at Tynecastle courtesy of a winning goal from Scott Sinclair.

A win will secure a six consecutive league title for the Hoops after Aberdeen won 7-0 on Friday night against Dundee.

Hearts have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions under Ian Cathro and currently sit in fifth place behind St Johnstone.

Celtic

Tom Rogic will return to action next weekend agaisnt Kilmarnock at Paradise.

Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths both missed first-team training in midweek through injury and will miss out on Sunday’s potential title party.

Hearts

Calum Paterson is out with a long-term knee injury along with John Souttar.

Aaron Hughes is still not ready for a comeback as he recovers from a calf injury.
