Brendan Rodgers could rotate his squad for Saturday’s game against St Johnstone as he prepares his side for the Scottish Cup final.

St Johnstone and Celtic last met in February as Rodgers’ side ran out 5-2 winners after being awarded a controversial penalty when they were 2-1 down.

The Saints were the last team to beat Celtic in domestic football last May, and could look to end their 43 game unbeaten domestic run which began in the final game of last season under Ronny Deila.

Scott Brown is suspended for this weekend’s game and the trip to Pittodrie next Friday after going over the disciplinary threshold.
Mikael Lustig will also sit out the game giving Cristian Gamboa the opportunity to impress at right-back.
Youth team players Anthony Ralston and Michael Johnston will be included in the first-team squad.
