Rodgers targets Liverpool ace and Chelsea youngster

Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen on bringing Liverpool veteran Lucas Leiva and Chelsea’s young winger Charly Musonda to Glasgow this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Lucas, who has been at the Merseyside club for ten seasons now, will be able to leave on a free transfer this summer when his current deal expires.
The Brazilian played under Rodgers for three years when he was the manager of the Reds, and the attraction of European football at the Hoops could potentially persuade him to make the switch from Anfield to Celtic Park.
The Scottish champions are also apparently interested in Chelsea’s academy prospect Musonda.
The 20-year-old Belgian U21 international is an agile winger who can play on either side or through the middle.
Other clubs have expressed interest in the youngster, who is yet to make his full debut for the Blues despite his promising talent.
Antonio Conte may decide to send him back out on-loan, with Rodgers’ Celtic currently seeming like a potential destination.
The Hoops are reportedly still interested in singing Chelsea forward Dominic Solanke too, as it looks like he’ll be shipped off this summer as well.
