Player ratings: Celtic 2-0 Hearts (H)

Brendan Rodgers’ men created history as they became the first team since the 19th century to see out the entirety of a domestic season unbeaten.

The Scottish champions saw out the season in style with a 2-0 win over Hearts at home on Sunday afternoon.

It was by no means pretty by Celtic, with Hearts setting out to sit deep and kill any pressure early.

After a slow and uneventful first half, Celtic went in front thanks to striker Leigh Griffiths, who despite his high-profile dispute with his manager was named in the starting XI.

Stuart Armstrong made it 2-0 with 15 minutes left on the clock that would secure both the three points for Celtic and their invincibility.

Rodgers and his men will now turn their attention to the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen as they go in search of securing the treble.
