Celtic are interested in signing Liverpool winger Harry Wilson this summer, according to a report from ESPN FC.
The 20-year-old has been in amazing goalscoring form for Liverpool’s U23 side this season, scoring 28 goals, despite playing in a wide role.
However, he’s found it difficult to force his way into the first team, making a solitary appearance in the FA Cup.
Wilson, who back in 2013 became the youngest player to play for Wales, at the age of 16 years and 207 days, is at a bit of a crossroads in his career as he looks to establish himself as a first team player as he doesn’t look close to playing regularly under Jurgen Klopp.
However, the Reds are apparently keen to keep hold of Wilson as they still think he has a bright future ahead of him. Therefore, whilst a permanent move to Celtic might not be on the cards, a loan move could make sense for all parties.
