On-loan midfielder Patrick Roberts is unsure about whether he will stay at Celtic despite having had no contact with parent club Manchester City, according to a report in the Manchester Evening News.
Roberts, 20, has been impressive during his 18-month loan spell at Celtic and has helped the club win back-to-back Scottish league titles, as well as being part of the historic unbeaten league campaign this season.
Roberts scored nine times in the league this season and got one goal in the Champions League against parent club Manchester City at the Etihad.
He impressed Pep Guardiola and the City fans on his return which has some of their fans desperate to keep hold of the youngster.
With Roberts expected to be involved in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday against Aberdeen, the Englishman doesn’t know if that will be his final game for the club.
No one from City has been in touch. They want me to enjoy the final, win the trophy and then we’ll talk after that.

Brendan Rodgers has shown his confidence in the youngster by giving him plenty of game time and is keen to either extend the loan or sign him permanently.
