Celtic have officially confirmed the signing of young midfielder Kundai Benyu from Ipswich Town.
The name isn’t a familiar one to all, so we’ve asked the question – who is Celtic’s new man?
Benyu is a 19-year-old centre-midfielder, who has spent the duration of his short career with Ipswich. He was scouted by the club at the age of just 13 and has remained there since, rising through the youth ranks each season.
After featuring for both the U18 and U21 sides Benyu was rewarded, as he was named in the senior squad for two fixtures back in 2015.

Having failed to receive consistent game time at the club, the Zimbabwean enjoyed a successful loan spell with National League side Aldershot last term.
He made 22 appearances for The Shots and even managed to pitch in with five goals and three assists from the heart of midfield.
Benyu is naturally a box-to-box midfielder and is set to come in to the squad primarily as one for the future.
However, there’s every chance he’ll break into the first team in seasons to come.
