Brendan Rodgers’ side are just 180 minutes from guaranteeing European football until Christmas ahead of their third round Champions League qualification tie against Rosenborg.
Attention shifted from on the field to the stands after the vocal Green Brigade were given a two-game ban after Celtic were charged for an illicit banner but Rodgers will be hoping all eyes are on his team on Wednesday night.
Last time out Celtic beat Linfield 4-0 at Celtic Park while Rosenborg needed extra-time in Norway to see off Irish side Dundalk.
The Norwegian side are currently five points clear at the top of the Eliteserien midway through the season.
Wednesday’s game will be aired on Celtic TV for users outside the UK and Ireland after the club refused to sell the rights to broadcast the game.
Celtic
Moussa Dembele didn’t train today and is a doubt for tomorrow’s game with a suspected hamstring injury.
The manager also denied that Celtic were in talks with Marseille over the sale of the French striker.
Leigh Griffiths is suspended after picking up a one match ban from Celtic’s first leg qualifier against Linfield in Belfast and is also battling a persistent calf injury.
Rodgers could use his wildcard before 11pm on Tuesday and add Nadir Ciftci to the squad to give Celtic another attacking option with his two star strikers potentially missing both legs.
Erik Sviatchenko is also a doubt through injury which could leave Celtic short of options in defence.
Cristian Gamboa and Dedryck Boyata remain out with a groin and knee injury respectively.
Rosenborg
The Norwegian side have no injury concerns ahead of the game.
