Scott Brown admits he knows the importance of every game for Celtic as the club prepare to face Rosenborg in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier.
The two sides go into tomorrow’s game with the scores level after the first meeting ended goalless.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Brown knows that winning games for Celtic is quite literally a matter of life or death for him.
This is life or death. You have to win games. That’s why I’m here and I’m still here after 10 years. I will do the same things every time. I sit and focus. That’s the way I get ready for a game.
The Hoops struggled against the Norwegian outfit during the first leg with injuries forcing manager Brendan Rodgers to name a makeshift starting XI.
Celtic were without Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths as the club face a striker crisis.
Griffiths has however flown with the squad to Norway for the second leg and could feature with Celtic in need of goals.
Every game is huge for us, including European games. We have managed to keep a clean sheet for going over there, so an away goal could be huge. We have a manager who is very relaxed and understands what we have to do. He knows if we go out there and deliver then we have a great chance. I know we didn’t have any strikers last Wednesday but we created chances.
Rodgers’ men prepared for the game with a 5-0 win over Sunderland in a friendly match, with Callum McGregor scoring a hat-trick against the recently-relegated Premier League side.
