Team news: Celtic v Hamilton (A)

Celtic return to action after the international break on Friday night as Brendan Rodgers’ side face a short trip to South Lanarkshire to play Hamilton.

Martin Canning’s side have won two of their opening four league games, and have won just two of their last seven games across all competitions.

Both sides drew last time out before the break, and Celtic will look to pick up three points and maintain their unbeaten domestic run of 53 games under Rodgers and keep pace with early league leaders Aberdeen.

The game will take place at New Douglas Park on Friday evening ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League opener against PSG for the Hoops.

Eboue Kouassi underwent surgery after picking up an ankle injury in the League Cup against Kilmarnock and remains out.

Rakish Bingham and Danny Redmond missed the Kilmarnock game last time out through injury but are back in contention for the Accies.

Summer signing Antonio Rojano is still awaiting for his visa to be granted a work permit and begin playing for the club.

Swansea loanee Botti Biabi is set to make his debut for the club.
