A dominant performance from Celtic against Hamilton moved them back to the top of the league table ahead of Tuesday’s clash with PSG in the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were in control from the opening minute and pummelled the home side at New Douglas Park throughout.
After two impressive outings for Scotland over the international break, Stuart Armstrong took just 17 minutes to open the scoring for Celtic.
Scott Sinclair doubled the Hoops’ lead on 29 minutes after a powerful run from Odsonne Edouard in behind the defence saw the ball fall into the wingers path and comfortably tucked the ball into the corner.
Sinclair got his second of the game and eighth of the season three minutes before half-time with another blistering run at the defence and turned in his initial shot which deflected off the post into the net from an acute angle.
Edouard got his debut goal on 65 minutes after firing a shot on goal which the ‘keeper couldn’t keep out.
Hamilton’s Alex Gogic scored with three minutes remaining in the game.
