Celtic shot-stopper Craig Gordon says the Hoops have enough depth and quality in their squad to cope with the demands of a busy period, as per the BBC.
The Scottish Champions face the prospect of three away games in eight days as they prepare to travel to Dundee in the Scottish League Cup tomorrow.
We know it’s going to be busy, but we’ve got a big squad and a really talented group, so we’re confident going into the next phase of games however many it might be over the next few weeks. It’s always a big part of the season this, early on. We have to make sure we’re still having a good start even though the European games.
Celtic then face Rangers in the Old Firm Derby on Saturday before travelling to Belgium to come up against Anderlecht in a key Champions League game.
The Champions have enjoyed a strong start to their domestic season, winning five out of their opening six, leaving them two points ahead of Aberdeen in the early stages.
The meeting with Anderlecht will be key for Brendan Rodgers’ side if they want to stand any chance of advancing from their Champions League group, or at least secure third place for a spot in the Europa League.
