Celtic return to Champions League group stage action on Wednesday with a trip to face Anderlecht in a pivotal game in Group B for both sides.
Argentinian coach Nicolas Frutos will take charge of the Belgian side who sacked Rene Weiler last week after a poor start to their domestic campaign.
Anderlecht came from behind to win 2-1 Saturday night against Waasland-Beveren but are still six points of league leaders Club Brugge after just eight games.
Brendan Rodgers’ side coasted to a 2-0 win in the Glasgow Derby and extended their unbeaten run in Scotland to 57 games, and will look to bring their domestic form on the road.
The two sides last met in the Champions Legaue group stages in 2003, as Celtic came out 3-1 winners, however they did lose 1-0 in their trip to the Belgian capital.
Former Celtic target Henry Onyekuru will look to impress against the side he was close to joining before making the move to Everton and then Anderlecht on loan.
Celtic
Anthony Ralston has a slight tear in his meniscus but can still train with the knee injury and will be monitored over the coming weeks.
Erik Sviatchenko is close to returning to action from a knee injury he sustained in July and is training with the first-team once again.
Eboue Kouassi also returned to training after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury in the League Cup against Kilmarnock but won’t return to action for a fortnight at least.
Anderlecht
Star winger Andy Najar is out for two months with a hamstring tear and could even miss the return fixture at Celtic Park in December.
Central defender Kara Mbodj, who has been capped 40 times by Senegal, is out with a knee injury leaving a gaping hole in their defence.
Midfielder Sven Kums is suspended.
The Belgian’s could also be without their top goalscorer last season Lukasz Teodorczyk, who missed their win at the weekend through injury and hasn’t trained with the first-team leading up to the game.
