Celtic return to domestic action on Saturday ahead of the international break as they travel to McDiarmid Park to face St Johnstone.
After an agonising 2-1 loss in midweek to Bayern Munich at Celtic Park in a game they could have won, the Hoops return their attention to league matters ahead of the final international break of the calendar year.
Brendan Rodgers’ side dropped their first points of the campaign at home to The Saints back in August, but have scored nine goals in their last two visits to Perth – winning every domestic game away from home this season.
St Johnstone have struggled of late under Tommy Wright, losing four of the last five games and currently sit sixth in the table.
Having extended their unbeaten run to 62 games last time out against Kilmarnock, the Hoops are on the verge of history as they look to break the British record held by the clubs former manager, Willie Maley.

Patrick Roberts suffered a hamstring injury last weekend and faces up to six weeks on the sidelines.

Erik Sviatchenko is recovering from a knee injury and won’t be fit for the game.
St Johnstone
Brian Easton is out with a knee injury along with Chris Millar, who pulled up with a groin problem in training.
Liam Gordon is available following shoulder injury.
Stefan Scougall was subbed off as a precaution in the loss to Partick Thistle last weekend but is expected to fit.
