Kristoffer Ajer could be set to make a January loan move away from Celtic.
The Daily Record reports that the young Norwegian will discuss a move away in January with Brendan Rodgers, as he aims to continue his development.
This comes after the manager revealed at the club’s recent AGM that he will be in the market for a defender in January, meaning that game time will be limited for Ajer, who had a successful loan spell under Lee McCulloch at Kilmarnock last season.

Ajer acknowledged that claiming a regular place in the team would be difficult and will discuss his options with the manger at this early stage of his career.
The transfer window opens on January 1, so I’ll talk to (Brendan) Rodgers and hear what the plan is for me.
There are many good players I compete with, but I have played good games already so they are very positive.
Ajer, who was signed from IK Start by Ronny Deila, has been developing well at Celtic, with a noticeable performance in the 0-0 draw against Rosenberg in Champions League qualification where he was named man of the match. He also featured in recent wins against Germany and Ireland for the Norway’s Under-21 side.
