Celtic are on the road once again as they travel to Fir Park on Wednesday night to face Motherwell just three days after their League Cup triumph.

The Hoops beat Stephen Robinson’s men 2-0 at the weekend as Brendan Rodgers lifted his fourth consecutive domestic trophy at the club.

Motherwell will also travel to Glasgow on Saturday to face the top of the table side, in an unprecedented triple-header in just six days.

They currently sit fifth in the league table, and will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment at the weekend with a strong performance at home.

Celtic

Moussa Dembele will miss the game through injury, and could miss next week’s crucial Champions League clash with Anderlecht.

Nir Bitton will also miss Wednesday’s trip after picking up a knock in last week’s loss to PSG having also missed the win on Sunday.

Motherwell

The Steelmen have no fresh injuries going into the game.

Cedric Kipre was red carded at the weekend in the League Cup final but will be free to face the league champions as his ban will carry over into next season.
