Celtic skipper Scott Brown has spoken out about the triple header against Motherwell, and has been very scathing and critical of the Lanarkshire side.
During the two games so far played, at Hampden Park and Fir Park, Celtic were awarded two penalties, which helped the Hoops clinch the League Cup and then preserve the unbeaten run.
Motherwell have been very critical of both of the decisions, claiming they were not penalties, but Brown has replied to that by saying (via Herald Scotland):
Louis Moult dived and we managed to score an own-goal from it – you don’t hear anything about that.
He said I dragged him back and I definitely didn’t. I have seen it back and it is shoulder to shoulder. You don’t hear anything about coins launched in people’s direction and trying to injure people. That all gets thrown under the carpet and they focus on two decisions.

Brown, while he was there, also took the opportunity to criticise the SPFL for not giving the players of Celtic or Motherwell any time off to rest, but instead making them play each other another two times in one week.
Brown said (via Herald Scotland):
If you asked Motherwell or ourselves, we would want some time off after a cup final.
So Brown has not held back, but he doesn’t have much time to, as he has to prepare for the upcoming game on Sunday against… Motherwell!
