Rodgers not changing his preparation ahead of third Motherwell tie
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers says it’s business as usual for him as he prepares his side to face Motherwell for the third consecutive game.
The Sunday Post reports that the Scottish champions will not be using different methods in their preparations, despite it being the third time the two sides meet in the space of a week.
Of course it is not the norm but there is no more or less preparation. We look at the game, we will do our analysis, we will study what the game was like on Wednesday and reference the game last weekend but really, looking forward to the game on Saturday to get the three points off them.
Celtic beat Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup final 2-0 last Sunday with James Forrest and Moussa Dembele scoring the goals to clinch the Hoops’ first trophy of the season.
The two sides met again on Wednesday night, where they played out a 1-1 draw with Scott Sinclair scoring a late penalty to clinch a point for the visitors, maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.
Saturday’s game is at Celtic Park and Rodgers’ men will be hoping to extend their four-point lead at the top of the table.
