Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to improve his squad in January ahead of what he hopes will be a busy second half of the season and as per usual, he’s happy to look into loaning some high quality young players.
One of the players he reportedly likes is Chelsea’s Charly Musonda and, according to Matt Law of the Telegraph, the Blues are willing to let the 21-year-old go out on loan when the January window opens.
Having lost Patrick Roberts to injury, the Hoops are a little bit short of quality in wide areas and Belgian U21 international Musonda would be a useful addition.

Chelsea are keen to let him get minutes elsewhere so he can continue his development and he would be available for Europa League games too, which would be a bonus for Celtic, if they did bring him in.
Musonda only signed a new contract with Chelsea last week and whilst they do think highly of him, they’ve not been able to get him regular first-team action and as such, he should be available in January.
