Celtic captain Scott Brown expects normal service to resume after the hoops suffered the first defeat in over 69 league games against Hearts.
Brown expects Celtic to bounce back from their 4-0 defeat at the first time of asking, with the hoops playing Partick Thistle tonight.
Speaking to the Scotsman at the opening of the new Celtic club shop in Livingston, Brown said; “It is one game in 19 months since we have been on this fantastic record. There are a lot of teams who want to beat us and Hearts were the team who managed to do it. Fair play to them. On the day they deserved victory and they played to their strengths.”

Brown admitted that Celtic have had some sloppy performances as of late. However, the Scottish international believes that the poor results will just give Celtic more motivation to kick on going forward in the Scottish Premiership and the upcoming Europa League games.
“It has still been a good season for us, We have lost just one game. We were pretty much unbeaten until Hearts there. We have probably not played as well as we could have this season – there has been a couple of sloppy games against Hibs and Hearts there but it is time for us to kick on now.”
