Celtic are close to securing a deal that will see St Mirren’s Lewis Morgan join the club, according to Neil Cameron of The Herald.
However, the 21-year-old will stay with The Buddies until the end of the season to help with their promotion push, before moving to Celtic Park in the summer.

The Scottish champions have agreed to pay £300,000 up front in a deal which will also include various performance-based add-ons and have done so to steal a march on the likes of Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Preston North End, all of whom have been tracking the youngster for a prolonged period of time.
According to Cameron’s report, the chance to work with manager Brendan Rodgers was the deciding factor for Morgan as he weighed up his options. Having seen what the current Celtic boss has done for the career’s of other youngsters, Morgan apparently decided that a move to Celtic was the best option for him to take at this stage of his career.
