Team news: Celtic v Aberdeen (H)
Celtic will look to open up an eight point gap at the top of the league table with a win over Aberdeen on Saturday at Celtic Park.
The Hoops got back to winning ways in midweek with a comfortable 2-0 win over Partick Thistle and could widen the gap with a win over Derek McInnes’ side
Aberdeen have lost three of their last seven games, and were hammered 3-0 at Pittodrie by Brendan Rodgers’ side the last time they met in October.
They are the closest rivals to the league title for the six-in-a-row champions once again this season, and Saturday’s 3pm kick off will be a fiery contest in Glasgow.
Celtic
Tom Rogic has been ruled out through injury until the New Year and Dedryck Boyata is a doubt going into the game after coming off late on against Hamilton in midweek with a groin problem.
Patrick Roberts will be also out until 2018 with a hamstring that has plagued him since his return to Glasgow at the end of August.
Anthony Ralston has been dealing with a meniscus problem that has kept him out of action since September and has yet to return to the squad.
Aberdeen
Greg Tansey is out with a groin injury while teenager Frank Ross has missed the last two games with an ankle injury.
