Team news: Celtic v Rangers (H)
Brendan Rodgers will be looking for his Celtic side to end a historic 2017 on a high in the Glasgow Derby on Saturday.
Rangers recently appointed Graeme Murty in charge until the end of the season and was in charge for the 1-1 draw the last time they met at Celtic Park.
Both teams won their midweek encounters, as Celtic go into the game eight points clear of Aberdeen in second place.
The Hoops hammered their Glasgow rivals 2-0 in their last meeting in September, and have won six of the last seven meetings.
Celtic
Jonny Hayes is out for the rest of the season after an X-ray confirmed the winger suffered a broken leg in the 2-0 win over Dundee and underwent surgery on Wednesday.
Tom Rogic is out through injury until the New Year with a knee injury along with Patrick Roberts who has a hamstring that has plagued him since his return to Glasgow at the end of August.
Anthony Ralston has yet to return to the squad at he battles a meniscus problem and signed a new contract until the summer of 2022, showing Rodgers’ intention to keep him at the club for the long-term.
Rangers
Ryan Jack was injured in the win over Motherwell on Wednesday but has yet to be ruled out of Saturday’s game.
Lee Wallace, Graham Dorrans, Kenny Miller and Jordan Rossiter are all out with long-term injuries.
Jak Alnwick is also out with an ankle injury.
